Rebecca's creative spirit first led her to study fine art photography. Ultimately choosing to use her knowledge of color theory and the fundamentals of design to pursue a career in hairstyling, she completed an apprenticeship at Lola Jones Inc. Rebecca then moved on to Balance the Salon where she spent nearly eleven years-- ten of them as the educator for all new talent hired by the salon. Rebecca has always been committed to her own education participating in advanced training at the Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica and Miami, Toni & Guy and the Redken Exchange in New York City, as well as classes with Modern Organic Products, Sebastian International, Haircolor USA, American Crew, and many others. Rebecca believes each individual presents a fresh canvas where she may utilize her years of experience, technical skill and creativity to compose a personalized work of art. Her dynamic approach to hairstyling has garnered Rebecca many accolades throughout her career including Baltimore City Paper's Best Hairstylist.
